The Queen's Diamond Jubilee - celebrations and events

Marking 60 years of The Queen's reign, Walberton Parish Council will be celebrating the Diamond Jubilee with an extended weekend of events from Friday 1st to Tuesday 5th June 2012

Friday 1st June

from 6pm - JUBILEE ARMS for real ales, beers, wines, spirits, BBQ food, special children’s bar and music.

Plus games available such as cards & boules. By Pavilion.

Saturday 2nd June

12 to 11pm - JUBILEE ARMS for real ales, beers, wines, spirits, BBQ food, special children’s bar and music.

Plus games available such as cards & boules. By Pavilion.

3pm - STOOLBALL match – playing fields - All the family are welcome – no experience necessary!

7pm - JUBILEE PARTY NIGHT with Walberton Players presenting an hour of songs from the Queen’s reign.

Sunday 3rd June

11.15 – UNITED CHURCH Service with St Mary's & Walberton Baptist Church - village hall

12 till 11pm – JUBILEE ARMS for real ales, beers, wines, spirits, BBQ food, special children’s bar and music.

Plus games available such as cards & boules. By Pavilion.

12.30 THE BIG PICNIC Bring your own food and rugs, tables & chairs will be available. Tractor & trailer rides, tombola, indoor bowls & lots more!

8pm JUBILEE QUIZ – Pavilion

Monday 4th June

12 to 11pm – JUBILEE ARMS for real ales, beers, wines, spirits, BBQ food, special children’s bar and music.

2pm - WALBERTON’S VINTAGE SPORTS Wellie throwing and races: egg & spoon, sack, wheelbarrow, slow cycle (bring your bike!)

7.30pm - THE WATERMELONS – Walberton's own group performing in the Pavilion

Tuesday 5th June

3-5pm - Children's party organised by St Marys Church
